Dear Mr. Quigley:

	Enclosed is a new draft of the article on Artificial Intelligence.
I based it on your revised draft which we put into the computer by
combining my previous draft with retyping the new parts of yours.
I have gotten used to editing in the computer.  Anyway the type font
and the typography approximate your form.

	1. I have made various minor improvements and have eliminated
some redundancy.

	2. I have corrected some errors introduced in the editing.

	3. I have restored the section on the alpha-beta heuristic.
You said you intended to include the diagram, and that is meaningless
without the text.  If you think the explanation of alpha-beta requires
much more concentration than the rest of the article, than it might
be desirable to include the explanation in a side-bar with the
diagram assuming the format of the encyclopedia allows such.
If space is tight, you could remove both the diagram and its explanation.
If you do make a side-bar, I should probably check what you come up
with to be sure it is understandable.

	4. I have restored the history.  If you need to cut, removing
it would be ok.
